  5. Introduction:
  6. SofTrack is a software/hardware inventory database.
  7. SofTrack keeps all relevant information and eliminates the
  8. need to search the manual for serial numbers, tech support numbers,
  9. etc.  For more info, please read the help file.  Tested with 
  10. Windows 3.1.  Please distribute widely.  Need Microsoft Access.

  12. Registration:
  13. SofTrack is a shareware program.  Notice that there are no 
  14. nag screens nor disabled options.  If you find it useful, please 
  15. do register as this encourages us to develop more useful programs. 
  16. Registration is only US $5.00.  Site licenses are negotiable.  
  17. Please include your name, address, and tel/fax number.  If this 
  18. is too expensive, do contact us.  The benefit of registration 
  19. is clear conscience.  Nevertheless, if you have any comments 
  20. (especially bug reports) or questions, do contact us.

  46. Methods:
  47. 1.  You need the Microsoft Access database program.  You can get 
  48. at retail stores.  SofTrack is an Access application.
  49. 2.  All files should be installed in their own directory 
  50. (such as C:\ACCESS\SOFTRACK) or in the Access directory.
  51. 3.  Make sure that *.MDB is associated with Access.  Check
  52. through File Manager.
  53. 3.  Attach SOFTRACK.MDB to a Group in Program Manager 
  54. (easiest way is to drag and drop from File Manager).  Change the 
  55. properties of the item to use the supplied icon.
